Worked on Powerwagon today, good and bad... - 04/23/20 04:43 AM

Fired up the '75 Power Wagon today to install a new steering damper on it. While pulling it into the lift stall I bumped a lift arm with the front left tire. KABOOM, down it went... well, the tires looked good but were pretty old, time for a new set. The steering damper went in fairly easy and trouble free!

Thanks! It’s an unrestored, but it was painted once, 100% rust free Texas/Arizona truck, SWB, optioned with 360, AT, A/C, Dash Tach, rear slider window, 4X4, Adventurer Edition and just about 55K miles.

Well I don't feel so bad anymore.
I did the exact same thing to the same tire on a 78 short box W150 back in the early 90's when I first learned to use a lift.
