2005 Ram 1500, best front end rebuild kit? - 08/16/19 06:22 PM

What make/brand are the 1500 guys using for front end rebuild parts/kits these days? Looking for ball joints, tie rods etc. I’m looking for high quality/shouldn’t have to do it again for 100K miles stuff. I know Moog used to be the high water mark but that’s debatable now. Looking to order from Rock Auto and get it shipped to the border for pick up (I’m in Canada) so returns for failed “life time warranty” parts wouldn’t be realistic. Again, whats everyone using for top line stuff (how many kms you have on said parts would be helpful as well)

You are only looking for 100K durability?
I have almost 340,000 miles on my 2007 2wd and it is still tight. What happened to yours???
What about using OEM factory parts?

It’s called living in Manitoba Canada. -40 in the winter and roads just as severe. CA seems to be easy on everything lol

Wow, that is unfortunate.
I put mine up on the lift every 6 months or so, expecting to see the bushings going bad but they still look great.
Sorry, I never thought that climate had such an effect on rubber components.
