Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of these bumpers?Pretty exciting as originals are made of "unobtainium".Please give us a review if you have bought one.

I got a new front and driver's fender from LMC last spring when I got hit by a drunk driver. Bumper looks good, weight felt like original. Fender was lighter than original, but fit was good.

I put a used one on my 69 D200 and it bolted right on and looked great! The front edges were close to the tail light pieces but as long as you don't hit anything they look awesome!

I just talked to them on the phone and they've sold 20 in January. They wouldn't tell exactly how many they have left but I got the impression that it was less than 100.

While on the subject of bumpers…. Can i put an earlier year front bumper on my 92 D150 to replace the bigger one there now? Anybody done it? I always thought my front bumper looked big and thick.

Bought New front bumper for 84 ramcharger from LMC. Depends how picky you are on finish. Does NOT compare to getting an original rechromed, but with that said. Price points are completly different.

I'll take $248.15 all in any day compared to a re-chromed one at $600 plus.I pulled the trigger Thursday and will report on the quality after it arrives.

You sure can, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to use the earlier brackets.

I didn't...I unbolted the front bumper off a '77, drove home and bolted it directly to my '86...then that same bumper bolted on my '88. Used the bumper to frame brackets from the '77

I received my new rear non-step bumper from LMC last week and I am very happy with it.The chrome is real good and it is exactly the same thickness as the original one...just shy of 8ga as shown in my photos. It was packed well except for the fact that the box left no room end to end.Anyone who orders one should check the very ends of the bumper for damage.I think this is well worth the $250 price tag...I give it a hearty thumbs up

Glad to see you're happy with the bumper, I know I worry about quality with stuff I can't see before purchasing.
I got a bumper from another supplier recently for my 2004 & the packing could have been better with mine, too because it had some light damage. I know they want to save money, but I bet that putting some additional protection at the vulnerable areas will be cheaper in the long run. I packed antiques & paintings for years & know exactly what happens & how to prevent it.

just saw this thread. i bought one of hose bumpers over the winter. haven't installed it yet. its a nice looking bumper. its not "show" quality in my opinion but a nice original looking driver bumper and looks a thousand times better then the bent up crappy thing on my truck now. and the price was great in my opinion. so glad they are reproduced now... the guys on the tin grille facebook page bought a bunch of them. all seemed happy with them.
