1972 W200 clutch linkage - 12/14/18 03:15 AM

Dropped in the Magnum motor and NP435 tranny today and realized I am missing parts for my clutch linkage.

All I have now is the ball on the bellhousing, the Z bar and the rod that connects the Z bar to the pedal.

Does anyone know of a source for this. New or used is fine.
I posted a want ad here but need this pretty fast.

I don't know if Passion or Brewers do truck stuff...how about LMC?

I don't know of any new suppliers so you are going to have to find a used one. Good news is that any 72 to ? truck or Ram Charger with a NP235 should be able to work. I'll be converting my truck to a hydraulic setup but it won't be for awhile yet.

LMC doesn't show anything in their catalog. I'll check the others. That frame bracket is probably gonna be the hard part.

That isn't much more than just a triangulated piece of steel that the ball bolts to. You could probably fab that.

I'm nnot sure exactly when the change was but during the 70s there was two styles of linkage.
One style had the z bar pivot on the frame, the other was on the cab.
As for the pushrod from z bar to fork, you can use one from a car, iirc A body had the longest and are easily cut to fit. Might be available new from restoration suppliers. Balls and bushings are readily available.

I might have the ball and bracket that you need. I'll check.
