I have a 1983 dodge ram charger with a 318 and bought a 2016 5.7 hemi for a swap. I'm wondering if I can use the same motor mounts

No. You will have to buy mounts for Gen III Hemi swap. Or fab sumpin' up. That's just one thing on a long list to make that swap. I would research it here or Ramcharger Central.
