Lamp Out Warning 2004 Ram 2500 - 05/29/18 12:59 AM

I keep getting a lamp out warning light and buzzer on my 2004 Ram 2500
I have checked all the lights, all good. How do I disconnect this darn thing.

Could be corrosion on circuit board on taillights or the light sockets.

The bulb can fail intermittently. My 2007 Ram had a faulty taillight bulb that seemed to fail when slowing and making a right turn. Strange...I could signal right at a steady speed and there would be no chime. Maybe though....maybe it was the brake and turn at the same time that overwhelmed a marginal filament?

Check the sockets for "blackening" around a bulb. This indicates a loose connection in the socket. If this is the case, you can take a small pick and gently pull the contacts out for better contact with the bulb. Badly burnt may require replacement.

i had 2 of those trucks and both did that. I found the bulbs from Napa that are all glass held up the best and stopped it for the most part. The parts store Sylvania or whatever with the plastic base kept melting and would lose contact.
