Older leather seats, newer 2006, wiring and seatbelt chime

Trying to figure out a way to adapt the 2002 style leather seat harness into my 2006 Mega, but is there a way to stop the seatbelt chime before I do this? I am going nuts, and have not been able to figure out the wiring harness situation, yet..

You can turn off the chimes. I did in my '06 shortly after I bought it since I didn't use the belt if I got really dirty that day.
