What size are the threads on the front caliper pins(bolts) on a 2002 Dakota. I've heard 9x1.25 but I wanted another opinion.

Are you looking for the pins or need to retread the spindle?
Pins should be 04886075AA

Got the pins, looking for the correct heli-coil or keenesert to repair the spindle.

some years back i bought a repair for disc threads,its a sort of epoxy,you put it on a bolt that is oiled or greased and screw it in,wait till it sets up then remove the bolt and the threads are there good as new,forgot what its called,i used it on a ford compact

I will ck tomorrow at work I have a kit and used it many times. Might ck NAPA for this set up;

If the damage is done, then its done. These can sometimes clean things up and make it work.

I may just drill o/s and tap to 10x1.5. 10MM shoulder bolts are pretty close in shaft diameter. Thanks for the help.
