01 CHEROKEE 2WD -CONVERTER SOLENOID CODE

Hey guys--any Jeep techs here--wife LOVES her 01 Grand Cherokee 4.7 two wheel drive--just turned 200K then it throws code for converter lock up solenoid--Jeep runs great--trans acts just fine
What am I looking at here to get it fixed?? Can I just grab another valve body from Pick a Part or is trans doomed? How long will it go? Thanks

What Trans is in it?

Think it is 45 RFE? Guessing I am in for solenoid pack replacement

Drop the pan and replace all of the electronics inside the trans.

Replace the solenoid pack and the filters. Make sure you get a Mopar filter for that little screw on one.

Replaced it with Mopar new solonoid pack--replaced rooster comb with new one for white socket pack--runs like a dream--shifts way better than it did --no real issues before that light came on and even better now but--throwing different code 0700 now--maybe I was low fluid before I got her all topped off?? Do I just need may pal with scanner to reset all codes? Can I reset/ erase here at home--tried battery cable off--soon as I hook it up getting that 0700 Code before was different for converter lock up pressure or some such can't remember now--Hey she runs great! Whats next and BTW THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news!
Shifting like a dream now and...light went out by itself--all happy now
I learned when replacing a "black plug" solenoid pack that you will get upgraded "white plug" unit that requires an updated rooster comb also--it was easy fix ( except the mess) and fixed it!
