2004 Ram best headlight housing replacements

The original clear headlight housings on my 2004 Ram diesel are getting a little scratched and discolored.

I'm wanting to replace them and in looking there seems to be an unlimited variety available.

I have no problem with the current brightness of the stock headlights so I'm looking for just a factory style bulb plug and go replacement.

The stock style that have the smoke color look OK as long as they work.

So what brands are the best?

The mothers headlight kit will take out scratches if they aren't to deep. As far as the best go factory which are pretty expensive. Most on ebay a Chinese and mostly all the same. They aren't bad. I put a set on my 03 ram before I went to the projector style. If you buy online be careful on what they call OEM because they are mostly aftermarket.

Just replaced the HLs on my 07. Got them from Rock Auto. It was about $100 for the pair.

My kid busted one on his 04.Got a new complete assembley from Ebay for less than 40 bucks.been in for at least 2 years now and no problems.Still nice and clear.The bulb isnt as bright as the factory one though.Rocky
