1978 Ramcharger with tilt wheel. need turn signal parts

Trying to fix my 78 Ramcharger steering column turn signal switch . Looking on line and reading reviews cant seem to find parts. need some help. looks like rock auto has the switch that has switch/ flasher. but cant find the cam( looks like a cup). they call it the return cam. Where is everyone buying parts ? poor reviews on replacement parts. thanks

Look for the same parts for a 78 Chevy truck with tilt.

Worst case you may have to go to a Chevy dealer.

Dodge trucks used the Saginaw tilt column till about 1990 or so.

the guts in the 78 and the way it was built is sure different than the 2 I rebuilt on my 84 and 86 Ramcharger. Need to try and find that cam return piece. I guess ill try rock auto parts.

There is a used one on ebay or there was 2 days ago.

still missing this part. cant find. my book calls it the cam assembly. basically it the horn contact ring. Not a lot off parts out their.

I know NAPA and Carquest and probably most parts stores that have that part and it will usually be in a Help section or where there is a lot of blister packs of common items that need replaced like door hinges, power window switches etc.

Take the Dorman number from the Summit site to the local parts store and see if they couldn't get it for you. Most parts stores deal with Dorman products.
