Seatbelt and seat swap on my '98 - 08/03/15 12:41 AM
My '98 is giving me the seatbelt locked condition, where the seatbelts are locked in the fully retracted position and will not release. I understand the issue (electrical, passive restraint, sensors, control module under the center of the seat, etc) so I'm not looking for a full explanation of the system.
I'm going to replace the control module. If that doesn't fix it I will swap the seats with a non 98-99 model, which I understand fully mechanical seat belts.
What later model year seats are a direct swap? 2nd and 3rd gen or...?
(BTW the truck is away from me now, pulling this bu!!hockey stunt with my wife driving it)
