RamCharger buckets & Console in a Reg cab

The other night I broke out a pair of driverside RamCharger seat bases & figured I attach a pair of Ply Sundance buckets to them & put the in
I bolted the bases in & figured WTH I'll try a RC bucket for the hell of it
Well 3-4 clicks from all the way back on the tracks & the drivers was good to go
The pass side I left the factory spacers out of the front
Both in & riding comfortable
I even put more carpet down between them

They came factory in 80-82 trucks in the low back version with the console...

Everyone on the truck forums stated that the high backs wouldn't work & such, I knew they came with low back seats

I have a set in mine as well, didn't put the console in because its for mud racing only. I am actually looking for another set to put in my other truck lol.

The high backs were offered in the early 90's club cabs too. I put a set of 90 Ramcharger seats in my 85 a few years ago. Very nice seats...

Did everything bolt in or did u need to do any drilling and welding?

I put mini van high backs in my D-200.
Need to get me some those bases though. I bolted my seats on top of the bench frame and my knees are too close to the steering wheel.
very comfortable compared to the old tired bench. Just a pain getting in and out with the wheel, so I currently have a small chrome spoked wheel in there.
I put a carpeted piece of plywood between the seats, to cover the seat frame.

If you want to put Ramcharger seats in a regular cab you would have to drill a few holes. The Ramcharger base has 4 holes in it and the original bench only has 2 holes per side. The holes line up on the out side of the Ramcharger bases but you would need to drill the inner 2 holes in the floor.

My 85 is a crew cab so the floor is flat. Here i had to make a few mods to make this work...
