just bought this

A customer of mine was going to call Pick N Pull to get this truck out of the yard. So I looked it over and drove it, he said it slips in reverse and chatters sometimes driving down the road, he didn't want to put any money into it. So I offered him $700, that's more than the yard would give him. Now I have to figure out why the trans is doing these things. It only slips in reverse when it is warmed up. Any thought on this or the chattering in forward? I think I scored even though it has 200,000 miles on it. Its super clean and maintained. [image][/image]

Wow he was going to send a clean looking truck like that to the scrapper? Doesn't sound like the sharpest guy. A used trans is worth what, a couple hundred bucks tops.
