1985 power windows don't work

The power windows in my 85 ramcharger do not work. We'll I can hear the motors running but it does not move the windows up or down. It seems like the gears are striped. I can't see how to remove to check the teeth on them. Any one know how?

Pull the door panel and stick as mirror in to where you can watch the gear and motor work. I think the motor assemblies are riveted to the door. Which means you might have to drill the rivets out to remove them. I'm not for certain on that.
