2001 dodge ram 2 wheel dr. 2500 long bed truck axle

The rear end in my truck is about gone,(pinion bearing went bad quite awhile ago) and gears are excessively worn, it is a dana 70 4.10 sure grip, the truck itself is showing its age but I want to keep it, what other years of rear end can I use in it if I put in a complete rearend ??

I don't know the exact years, but there are tons of them available if you pull from another Dodge 2500. Just measure center to center on the leaf spring perches and face to face at the wheel mount surfaces. The housing will have a "70" or "80" cast in it and a id stamping on the axle tube.
