01 Ram trans dead and transfer case stuck to it.

Just to add a some expense to the deal the trans went out at 140K, had it towed to a shop, they cant get the transfer case off the trans it is corroded around the attaching studs so bad it wont come loose., and... the transfer case has a crack in it...
I will assume the crack happened when the rear axle fell apart at 30MPH and spit out the driveshaft while sliding to a stop.. a couple of months ago..

got my truck back from the shop,
the trans internals were just a mess of worn and broken parts.
they had to soak the transfer case studs overnight to get it off the trans,

Not a very pleasant job to do, but hope it holds up and you get a pile of miles back out of it.
