Weight & Overall Dimensions of a 77 D250 Club Cab?? - 01/22/15 06:09 AM

Does anyone have information that would tell the curb weight of a 77 D250 Club Cab 2WD with a 440 & automatic. Also would like to know the overall length of this vehicle?

Not exactly what you're looking for but maybe you can use the info for comparisons sake, my 75 W100 318 auto Club Cab SWB is exactly 18' long and the title weight is 4400 lbs.

Had a few on my 18' trailer..thats about spot on for length!
Weight wise real close!

Are you looking to haul it on a u haul trailer?

Thanks... No...not on a u-haul but I bought a 77 truck and looking to get it hauled to me and the driver wants to know the weight and length. I don't think one of these club cabs would fit on a u-haul trailer would it?? I transported an 89 D-250 single cab and it used up every bit of the trailer tracking. It was so close that the center line of the rear axle was about 3 or 4" from the "very" end of the track.

The trailer wull need to be at least 80" betewen the fenders if not a deck over style....it might fit on a 16' trailer but it would take some creative strapping. I would want an 18'....

I had a guy buy my 8' bed club cab 4x4 and he tOwed it with a 1/2 ton ram... toung weight really made it squat because he couldnt distribute the weight

Have a look at the picture...the towing vehicle is a 2002 QC Short Bed 2wd. The truck on the equipment trailer is a 1977 D250 club cab with 440 auto. It weighed at least 7,000#, but we never scaled it. After I pulled the engine and trans for my project I sold it as a roller to another club member and he eventually scrapped it for $750.00.
