Picked this one up earlier this year. 19K miles, was used as a mobile classroom in Missouri.

Southern Coach/Flxible body on a P300 chassis. Runs great, but I need to get some glass cut and to fix the front of the roof and a pillar.

That would make a great camper/tow vehicle w/ the right engine.
Friend of mine bought a bread truck several years ago just to get the 4BT for an S-10 swap. IIRC, he's getting about 50 mpg out of it.

Cool old van!

Wonder if it was built at the old Flxible plant in Loudonville, Ohio?

I like them when they are delivering parts to my house, especially the brown ones.

I've owned a bunch of them, have 9 now.

This pic was in 1996, my 1986 IH 1652. I built the grille and picked through the parts book at the International dealer to find short bumper brackets to tuck the bumper back closer to the hood. This one; like almost ALL stepvans; was worked hard until it finally went to the Great Aluminum Pile in the sky.
