Anyone know the wheelbase dimensions for these trucks? Better yet, can you get them to fit on a standard 16 or 20 ft car trailer?

149" for a shortbed, and 165" for a longbed. Use the 20' trailer.

BTW, say Howdy! to Oklahoma for me. I'm homesick.

True, but that hasn't stopped people from putting the decals or badges on one. Even with a shortbed, the 16' trailer would be a tight squeeze.

Howdy thanks for the replies

I swore I would never stay in Oklahoma after college, but after a year away I was ready to get back.....and I wasn't that far away

In 70-71 there could be, in fact there are some. I'm sure the OP is refering to 72-79 trucks though.

70-71 short bed crews had a 146" wheelbase.

No, that was my old Big Dog as shown being towed on a proper trailer.

Not 4WD or short bed, but mine is right at 21 feet from bumper to bumper. They're looooong!

Not mine...but just for laughs... Cousin Eddie was free on craigslist... someone had to have it... and then picture of accident surfaces....

Note to self...have some toung weight..don't overload your trailer..
That could have been bad...note location of wheels on trailer...poor poor trailer....
