I posted this in Q&A but probably should have posted here. Anyway some cut and paste and...
I have an electronic issue going on. Truck has 4.7.
The radio quit and when you shut off the engine, the hot light stays on and nothing that would normally work with the key off works. No dome light no locks nada. No OBD2 port either.
Codes from flashing the key are 0456, 0440, 0301 and 0137. 301 has been fixed but not cleared.(coil). 0137 seems to be the only one remotely involved.
I checked all the fuses with a test light with them installed in the fuse box. The only one with no power key on or off was the O2 and it powered up when I started the engine.
Left signal has now left the building. Flasher runs real fast. Right front flashes but no rear. 4 ways flash a little slower but no left side. No brake lights except the 3rd one on the cab. Only one low beam on one side and one hi beam on the opposite side.
I have since changed the fusebox and the FCM out as a unit (used) and nothing changed. Same stuff that was FUBAR still is.
