Our 09 ram r/t is a fun truck. Has 4.10 gear instead of the now 3.92. The 2015 only makes 5 more hp and 10 more pounds of torque.
Night and day differance from take off from it and a 2012 4door 4x4 we have
I like the fact it only has 2 seats
I think they missed the mark by not having a stick opption
The only way to get a truck with a stick now is with diesel..

Unless you just enjoy changing gears, I think you would be hard pressed to beat the performance of the 8 speed auto.

My wife is already asking when the 6.4 or 6.2sc version will be out! 
As much as we like the 5.7 R/T, I bet we could use some extra hp!

I am sure I will disappoint some that I own a ford lol But my 2001 stock lightning does 13.7 in the quarter.. But not bad with the dodge I think the weight is killing it..

Nope, not at all. The Lightning was, is, and always will be one of the coolest vehicles Ford ever made.

Supposedly they are going to do a 6.2 SC Ram. If it gets a 6 speed manual I'm getting one......I'm not going to miss the boat this time.

Thanks. But let me be clear. It is my wife's truck.
She picked out what she wanted. Once she picked out the R/T. She waited about 4 months to get color she wanted and said she wanted it lowered. So that is what she made happen. Back in 2001 we bought a new Dakota R/T and she loved that truck. She missed it from the day we sold it. The bright side, I do get to drive the R/T when it needs gas!

That is pretty impressive but what's kind of eye opening is C&D also tested a 2015 Denali (4x4, quad cab) with GM's new 6.2 and it ran the exact same time. Dodges have always been heavier than Ford or GM. It would be nice if they could shave a few hundred pounds off and use the 6.4
