can someone decode this 78 ramcharger. vin.
A10BD8S260294. thanks. wanted to make sure it was correct size motor etc. saw the "S" in serial number and was wandering if that stood for special like a LIL Red. thanks

260294 is the Sequence Number

Thanks just wanted to verify it was a 440. what tells you its options like if it was a macho etc

Check for 2 things.
First, check top of radiator support on right to see if core support tag is there. This will give just the basic of basics like color and paint procedure for 1978.

Second, Check under side of hood for the equipment label. This will denote majority of standard and optional equipment. 50/50 shot on this one still being there.
