Just a heads up for you guys with 2013 and 2014 ram 1500 trucks do not install a front 2" leveling kit. The upper arms are stamped steel and the ball joint press area is not strong enough. We saw one last week that the upper joint was canted in the arm during the install. I don't know when the arms were changed as 2006 on up basically is the same. On these trucks you will need either older arms or the new style that Zone has. I ordered the zone for our customer. We had to tack weld the ball joints as a temporary fix. Ready Lift did not want to admit that there was a problem. BDS knew as well as Zone. Just a heads up.

I think they were changed as part of the 2013 refesh. They went to larger ball joints.

We did not have anything to compare it to however the joint is not very big and the press area is not very deep. It is a weak design. I have never seen a 4,000 mile truck that the ball joint can become loose installing a simple leveling kit.
