P0171 Jeep Patriot Fuel System Lean - 01/30/14 06:03 PM

Taking our 2012 Jeep Patriot to the dealership on Saturday to check out this check engine light, I scanned at home and came up with this code: P0171 Fuel System Lean

Any guesses as to what they're gonna tell me on Saturday?

One I looked at had contaminated fuel. Could be a mirad of things....

Apples and oranges but on 98% of the Toyotas I worked on it was the mass air flow sensor. Some were O2 sensors and several were fuel-related. Like said, could be any number of things. (Not what you wanted to hear, right?
