No photo, but I can picture some fabbed nerf bars....with about 2" tube. Always thought a nascar inspired 2wd ramcharger would be cool.......

I like the idea but it depends on you local laws.. Most states the exhaust must exit behind the passenger compartment. That being said, I have everyting to make a set of 3 1/2" sidepipes..

I really like that look The Ramcharger would be fine with that too, but it is particularly nice on the truck because with the stock gas tank location on the pickups it fills the area between the drive shaft and the left frame rail and you have to run additional tubing to make the exhaust look symmetrical. The Ramcharger gas tank is mounted behind the rear end between the frame rails, so you can end your exhaust on both sides behind the tires and in front of the fuel tank or go under the frame rail and exit at the bumper.

As a matter of fact, I like it so much I think I will do the same to my '87 for all the above reasons. The NAPA store in Redmond caters to the "Big Rig" crowd and while their stuff is mounted vertically, it won't know the difference if I mount mine horizontally What was old is now new again

I think I need to meet up with you, Larry and have a look at your stash of side pipe material

3.5" sounds about right to me. "Big Rig" may be a little too much

most side pipes only have 2" inlets and outlets with the center being 2.5. the stuff I have is 3.5 with a 2.5 core..

I think side pipes on trucks and Ramchargers look stupid!

Someone had to disagree......

I really don't mind, but wouldn't put them on my truck. Too loud, I'm getting old! I would like to try to keep what little hearing I have left. Gene

Visualize a Viper with a pickup box and you will have the concept...and of course the factory already made a pickup with a Viper engine

There is a saying "...If it's too loud...you're too old..."

Yea.....well....I am going to put 6" diesel pipes on next.
Not,but I am eventually going to the four into one pipes and will try to connect pipe to pipe from the headers, some day.
