The pick up body style that began in '72, and went to '79 (I think that's it, but correct me if I'm wrong). Are all the antennas the same through those years. As far as mounting, and connecting up to the radio? I have a '76, will all those years fit?

72-80 and yep I think they are the same. Should have a big backing plate

thru 79, in 80 they went to the other style.

Yup, thru 79 on the antenna
1980 switched many things, also the name to "Dodge Ram" and to part time 4wd with lockout hubs
1981-1993 more squared off body panels, rectangular taillights and squared off dash, etc.
