What size are OE door speakers?

I am looking at replacing the door speakers in an 86 Ramcharger.

Was wondering if anyone knew the factory size?

I have always replaced them with a 6x9 but was thinking this time to just use a direct bolt in rather than having to drill and cut.

I think they are 6.5" IIRC but I'm not sure.

Also has anyone replaced the factory speaker wires with larger gauge? whats the best way to get the wires through the factory "tube" in the door jamb?

My RC has 6X9 in factory adapters I don't cut anything
