any one know what size tire 1978 2wd ramcharger

Any one know what factory size tire would be on a 2wd ramcharger. I'm going to try and find the correct size for it with a thin white wall like in the picture.

Also if any one on here has a door to a truck like the one in the picture above I'll buy it off of you. I need it to make some stripes. I'd still like to go that route with my 2wd ramcharger, I love it on the black.

If the sticker is still on the driver's door opening you should see a size listed. On my '86 Ramcharger 2WD I think it is 205/75R15 IIRC.

The ram charger hasn't showed up yet, it will be here Saturday. I have a set of chrome slots that I was going to drop off tomorrow to have some correct looking tires installed on them. Thanks for the size info. I cant stand the tires that on it right now so I wanted to get a set ready for it before it showed up. It should make it look a lot more original.

I know a lot of people wont like the thin white wall look but I do as I like the factory stock look. Now I need to order up some repro center caps from dodge connection.

Back then it most likely was a H70 X 15 . The regular size was H78 x 15. 70 was just a lower profile.

235X70X15 comes pretty close in todays sizing.

My 79 had L78x15 blackwalls, on 15x8's but was a 4x4 so....

They have a Few sizes. Considering the 4wds came with 195/75-15s up to 31x10.50-15. Size should be in rhetorically door jam. Gearing and transmission affected fire size also. I thinktfhe more common is 215/75 or 235/75.
