Do they take the same Flywheel? According to Advance auto they do. That would mean slants are internal Balancing?

I used my /6 10.5" flywheel and had it rebalanced for my 73 340.

BUT what size clutch is used on a /6 435 combo?

Same flywheel calls for either 10.5" or 11"
11" is shown for slant and 10.5" for 318

Rock Auto shows the same flywheel for the 11" and 12" 143 tooth flywheel.. The 10.5 clutch uses the 130 tooth flywheel.

Are you looking at Flywheel for the 225? Rock auto does list one.

Yes I did and the 1 you listed is the 130 tooth flywheel..

NOW

the question to you is can the bell you have for the /6 435 take the 130 tooth or the 143 tooth flywheel? If your bell uses the 143 tooth flywheel and you use the 130 tooth flywheel arnt you going to have a problem with the starter not engaging because of the smaller diameter???

I don't have a bellowing yet. KenworthGoose used the 11" clutch with the 833 bell and trans I believe.
But the flywheel is listed for 2 and 4wd. If the 318 flywheel is a bolt on for the slant I have one. That's what Im trying to figure out. I don't know much at all about manual transmissions.
