anyone have a 91 dakota? is that the first year of the serp belt? Do you have any pics of the drive belt system, i need pics of tensioner? a/c? pwr steer and alt.. thanks

wow that helps a-lot.. i am wanting to put a serp belt on my 72 LA engine, and the magnum system wont work on a LA engine, but seems like the 91 Dak will

The magnum setup will work on the older la style engines.

no the mag set will not work with LA heads.. the cover water pump and and main accessory will, how ever the tensioner and pwr steer will not work on the older LA headed engines..the 91 LA engine in the dakota was by-itself and is what i am looking for.. I alos thought the mag set (93 3.9 v6) was a bolt on, till i got to the tensioner and pwr steering, and no way to bolt them up unless i fab some brackets.. I also just verified my find with Rick E-burger of mopar action as well.

the only way to make the mag setup completely work is to swap to mag heads.. the mag heads have bolt holes for the tensioner and pwr steer bracket, LA heads do not have all the holes

Power steering pump bolts directly to the timing cover with those three bolts.
