My new truck **update** - 06/08/13 10:33 PM

This is the replacment for the 83 stroker truck. 1998 Dakota 318 auto with O/D and A/C, infinity sound, dual exhaust. Sweet little truck. First truck I've had in 6 years with a real pro paint job.

Very nice! Go for it and get 3.90 gears.
Why did you sell the '83?

Find a used 9 1/4 rear from a R/T with the 3.90 gears. I did this swap in my DD 2000 3.9 V6, only need to remove the flange style mount to the rear and replace it with a combo cap size u-joint. If you are lucky grab the sway bar with it.

You will also need the bigger u-bolts and plates.

That is really sweet! I would be cool driving that around. My wife on the other hand would not appreciate all the attention

Re: My new truck update - 07/06/13 11:54 PM

I've had it a month and here it is with new front suspension (stock A arms instead of the dropped ones), stripes, wheels and tires and chrome wheel opening moldings. Also got some new exhaust to rplace the cobbled almost welded stuff that was on there plus a dana track lock rear with 3.55s.
