!@#%& clutch

!@#%& clutch - 05/28/13 01:22 PM

Went to move the Dually so a friend can haul some stuff. Evidently somehow some moisture has gotten into the bellhouseing. The disc is evidently stuck to the flywheel. Tried starting it in gear but the parking lot was full of cars so we wernt able to move it very much. I sure wish my bad back and shot eyesight would allow me to work on it.. Im sure if the pressure plate was loosened up the disc will free up with a little persuasion..

I had that issue with that dump truck I bought. Idleing till it comes up to temp helped free it up. Still works ok.

had that happen once. had someone push the clutch pedal in, and gently worked a wide putty knife between the disc and the flywhell. worked fine after that.

Put it in gear, hold the clutch pedal down and crank while standing on the brake pedal. Should break free. Probably best to use 4th gear to make it harder to move the truck if it won't come unstuck.
