Replacement Carpet for D150????

My father-n-law has a 1984 D150 that he is wanting to replace the carpet in. I told him I would find him some but I am confused(don't take much).. Anyway, what "pile" do I want ? Plush or no plush? Do I want mass backing?? ETC,ETC...Geesh I never knew there would be so many options.. This is not a show truck just wanting a close to OEM look and quality as possible without breaking the bank.. Any recommendations??? Thanks in advance..

Original for your truck should be the cut-pile or plush as some call it. Unless you are really trying to make the truck super quiet I would skip the mass backing. The standard backing is just like the original so it should work for most applications.
