I am specifically wanting to know What thehd cooling option included. I have the light duty cooling and would like to swap this truck up to the HD cooling

I guess the year would help. Its an 08, considerable tow capacity difference between ld and hd

To be honest with you I think there is very little difference between the two. I had HD cooling on my 04 3/4 ton off-road 4x4 with snow plow prep. and could see no difference in it other than a slighly larger trans cooler as opposed to a truck with standard cooling. The radiatior looked to be no bigger than a standard duty. I was expecting a huge radiator like in 86 W250 with max cooling. Big difference between it and a standard radiator.

that's what I thought , if you look up parts such as radiator etc there is no distinguishing, it lists just the one part #(aftermarket)

Based on what I know, I think it is a larger trans cooler, and a different fan clutch (engages sooner, stays on longer)

been looking up parts associated and I think that is the only difference, even the radiator is the same up through the 2500 series with the 5.7. thanx for the help.
