Where the best place to purchase a rubber bed mat for my 1990 dodge ram. I've checked a few places but they don't seem to carry ones back that far.

I have a nice one that was in a 88 long bed,had a camper shell on it also.

I have the mat on a slab with the camper shell on top of it. to store stuff under it. I just clean that stuff out/gone. camper shell is next and wonderd what to do with the mat??

if it fits your need then yours free if you cover the ride.

That would be awesome as I cant find one for it any where. Do you think it would work on my short bed? Should be able to trim it to fit I would think? Thanks so much!

they cut with a razor knife. i threw my last one away, to roll in a liner from a can.

*who knew people would actually want one?

This is going into my Rod Hall truck so I was looking to find one that was a perfect fit. I also didn't know if the gas fill tube indent is in the same spot. If it wasn't the half round spot cut in the mat would look kind of funny in the wrong spot. The truck had one in it before I bought it and the previous owner kept it. I didn't really make a fuss about it as I thought I could buy a new one for it pretty easy. I also noticed summit sells some but I want a plain one that has no large logo in it.

well,i removed the bed floor and front bulk head from the long bed, then cut it down on both ends to fit a short box.

this way the gas tube bump was in the right place when fitting the bed floor in place.

so you should be able to do the same to the rubber mat minus all the drilling of spot welds and welding of spot welds.

I will have to go look to see if it has the cut out for the bump. I dont recall off hand. it has no logo that I recall but has ribs down the floor like a truck bed.

I will work at getting it out/cleaned off and rolled up for shipping, see what is cheapest this weekend for you. PM me your mail addy.

I will post a pic of it when i get it out from under the camper shell also report on the cut out and if it looks like it could be cut to fit.

dug it out from uneder the camper shaell today.

little dirt but would clean up nice with some purple power and scrub brush. )I will leave that for you when you get it)

I will knock the heavy loose sand/dirt off of it before rolling it up for you though.

no cut out for the gas tube nub. IIRC it did not hold it up any.

ribs on top side and bumps on the bottom side.

looking at it with a tape measure I think you could trim a couple inches from each end and make it fit the short box.

measure from end of tubbs to bulkhead then from tubbs to tail gate. it is about a 1/4-3/8 thick and a good razor knife would cut it right up.

I get it rolled up. wraped in brown paper, weighed, shipping cost.

I will do USPS or UPS ground, which ever is cheapest for you.
