Does anyone know what company made this front bumper? - 03/15/13 05:56 PM

I got this Ramcharger a while back and it has this heavy front bumper with a grill guard. I don't think this was home made, has anyone ever seen one before?

looks like somone took a 10" drop center bumper rear bumper and put a grille guard on it from what I can teel in the picture

Could you find a darker picture?

This picture should be a bit better. I hate that mesh grill, I just want to put a real grill in it but I don't think I can get it in under that frame.

looks like someone took a 10" drop center bumper
rear bumper and put a grille guard on it
from what I can teel in the picture

To mount this bumper they had to take the front cross member right out of the truck and bumper becomes the cross member and is part of the frame. It must weigh a ton. This is for sure a front bumper.

For sure it cost the original owner more than a thousand dollars.

There are so many bumper manufacturers that one cannot tell which.

I couldn't find the link. They had Nice bumpers for way less than $1000. Its stupid to pay that much for a bumper IMO. I'll search again tonight.

Thanks again for looking, I think this bumper is old. I want to know if anyone makes a bumper like this for my truck only more modern looking. This picture is what I want the top to look like. Now that bumper kicks A$$

One more picture. I would rather have round tube than square.

I'm going to try and install a real grill but as you can see we still have way to much snow, maybe it will be warm enough by the end of April. This has been a long winter.lol

Your last pic resembles an older Reunel model that I thought they called the Baja. Couldn't find it on their site though. They show a pic in their gallery that resembles your 1st pics.

I would think most capable welding shops should be able to build a bumper that will thrill you.

So what do you do in Manitoba after it snows? Well I went out and installed a factory chrome grill in my truck (didn't feel like waiting until April). I found out it wasn't the bumper that I didn't like it was the mesh grill.

I think it's a night & day difference, it really makes the bumper stand out. Now I just have to find matching headlight doors or maybe I'll just leave it like this.
