Anyone know where to get the 5/8 bolt w/13-16 hex head that is the thrubolt on the shackle for leafsprings like on my 91 R/C? the head is accessed thru a hole in the frame.

i may have a couple shackle bolts from all of the chassis work I have done latly.

I look in the shed and measure some to see if i have that size.

do you need any shackles with the bolts?

No Im good on shackles, Just need the bolts. Let me know what you find and thanks. I really dont want to enlarge existing holes to run a generic 15/16 head bolt, slimmest socket in 15/16 that I have is .1258 o/d which is .0258 bigger than my biggest drill bit

do these look like them?

i measure a 5/8 shank, 13/16 socket for bolt,15/16 socket for nut.

IIRC,I did have to use a thin wall socket to fit the inside 13/16 hex.

IIRC you can slip a wrench down from the top between the frame and spring mounting bracket to hold the 13/16 end.

I use the air chisle with a point punch to drive the bolt out, then buff the bolt and clean bushing sleeve for the install.

Local spring shop might be able to help. Also try contacting suspension lift companies as they have hardware for leaf spring swaps
