1984 W150 4x4 front end assembly question (snap ring)

Bought this 1984 4x4 1/2 ton to fix up. Came with a box of parts ,cause they started to tear apart the front hubs. Someone at one time, put on M@M lock outs on it. Well everything is in pieces,found one snap that is bent up and missing one for the other side.Went to all auto parts stores and tractor supply , found a couple that are close but not really correct.The original snap ring is thick and solid and the replacement ones are thinner and cheezey.Worried about it not hold the assembly together correctly. Besides trying to find something in a junk yard that old and not damaged where can i get two?? would really like to get this front end back together. Any dodge web site that shows this break down and call out the size and thickness of this snap ring?? Thanks !

I think he's referring to new lockouts. You can get warn and mile marker for less than $100. Otherwise try a true nut/bolt supplier. They typically stock more odd size stuff. Local 4WD and driveline shops should be able to help too.

wow $100 for 2 snap rings!! maybe i can call M&M and buy 2 snap rings. I think it was the stock hubs that used them

No $100 for the Lockouts

So i have a extra set of lock out laying around just missing the snap rings LOL

Some aftermarket hubs do not use a snap ring on the axle shaft. Be sure so find the install instructions for the hubs you intend to use.

Here's a thought call the company that makes your current Lockouts and get the parts you need

Been on line looking at the company. looking for a parts list but they dont seem to show any.got a email into them already.- Trust me im on it! trying to cover all my bases as i move forward.i like coming to moparts and ask cause i hate to wait for answers from customer service.
