I covered my door panels with tweed,turned out ok for a first time effort.
I am working on some inserts for them,the top one is cut to go behind the armrest and around the raised area at the window crank.
The lower covers the inset where the speakers are(can be made with/without slots).
Anyone interested let me know,will get pics soon.
I am using brushed aluminum .060 for mine to match the dash(when I get them made).

This is a rough draft,a little fine tuning left,these are just cheap plastic test pieces covered with vinyl.

Looks good are you putting the brushed alum,around your gages? On my 86 i painted the section that your using the alum,black the panel was red looked okay,

Got started on the dash inserts,perimeter shape is done with just the stock gauge holes so far.
Lower dash panel inserts done as blanks so far.

When is the release planned? Im still interested in a perimiter panel without holes in it. If you were sent a pattern could/would you cut it out?

No problem,as long as you do not need it right away.
I have gotten very busy at work again.

Here are the test dash panels covered with brushed aluminum vinyl.
They are blanks obviously.
I would expect every dash to have a little deviation.
I am about ready to get some brushed aluminum panel for the acual parts.

Unbelievable it took this long,but finally I got a real set made of the dash with gauges(indicator lights and controls will be no problem),I made these out of dybond type material(1/8 inch thick).
This is a lightweight but rigid and durable aluminum composite material (ACM) –– two strong sheets of .012" aluminum bonded to a thermoplastic core light weight but fairly strong.
Door panels turned out good too( added the pentistar speaker grill),these are from .040 aluminum.
