All I can say is, the Lord's got something special for that young man to do someday before his time comes. up

there is still something he needs to accomplish before he hits the big car show in the sky, but by telling his story, the "everything happens for a reason" quote comes to mind.

Did you read through the moparts link I posted?

The crash happened on Christmas Eve, 2018.

The bone cancer diagnosis was in January 2019.

A new thread in a different forum may get different eyes than an update in another forum. Not everybody visits every forum.

I just thought it was a cool story that I hadn't heard before and thought maybe someone else hadn't heard of it either. But it seems everything turns into a debate/discussion/argument here anymore.

You didn't do anything wrong and it is very much a cool story.

Would be nice if people would read before commenting. Not everything is a 10-second clip.

I can't get over the HOLE in his arm. Like he said when the Doc asked him if he was in any pain and he replied to the negative.... the amount of bone structure that had already been lost to cancer could have broken like a twig had he picked his child up! There was almost nothing left to hold his upper arm to his body other than some muscle! Makes me all paranoid because my everything hurts these days....

I did hear or read about this a while ago but nothing about the surgery and rehab. Nice to have an update and glad everything worked out so well. Any happy outcomes are welcomed these days. Not all are so fortunate. I believe I read about this story in members restorations and was titled something like "ribeye" ? Anyway thanks for the update.

Definitely! Part of it is the 5 daughters he is raising that emulate him.

I had not heard of this story, pretty cool it worked out in his favor! up I wrecked my truck in 2002 due to a lady letting a bunch of ducklings cross the road at a green light, she was just idling along with no brake lights on and I came around a corner and had no way to stop in time. My right rear wheel took out the rear window on her Honduh. The ambulance came and took me to the hospital because I felt pain in my side, thought it may be the safety belt bruised it. They took X-rays and found I had kidney stones that were causing the pain! eek I had felt a bit of discomfort a few days before but had no idea... shruggy
