Holley Moparty u going?

It's happening this weekend hear it was a cool show!The original Vanishing Point hemi challenger movie car is supposed to be there.Anybody going?Has anyone been there before?

We'll be there. I'll be racing my 2010 SRT Challenger in the stick class.

The wife will be selling her custom T-Shirt pillows by our trailer in the pits along with some swap parts that we're hauling down there for a buddy.

Yep, put my LQ trailer in the RV park yesterday since I left it down south after last years Moparty. Of course the water system spring a leak, so I gots work to do tomorrow when I get down there with the wife...

How's the show going?

The show was awesome! Rained a few hours on Saturday then the fun began! Before the rain there was at least twice the number of show cars and probably 20% more race cars. The swap was bigger and the Midway was about the same, but it was good. Today the rain came around 11am and I left by noon, not much going on anyway. I don't ever plan on missing it. And the rumors about the General Lee was totally bogus, Holley should have come out and said something though...

I had a great time racing in the D&D class. Will be back next year!

And read where someone parked where someone else had left their tent from day before.
And was some yelling and name calling that escalated to pushing and shoving going on before security stepped in

I started watching clarks place utube about the show I didn't notice anything.

A couple pics of the cars that were still there after the unscheduled Sunday rain for the Stick Shift Class Eliminations.

Since the class was heads up and I had the slowest car in the class by a full second I went out in the first round.

Being a heads up class the only way I could possibly advance was for someone to red light or break.

The one plus was that I made my quickest pass ever in the car with a 12.87 at 107.1 mph.

Enjoyed my time there. Looks like most everyone who went seemed to have a good time, rain be damned.

Looks like alot of fun!,Planning on going next year!
