Look at the message you sent, on the lower left below your screen name and all that, you'll see 'unread'. If its been read, it'll show 'none' If it hasn't been read, it'll show a screen name.

Let's just be grateful that it was posted in General instead of Q&A. People often post these kinds of things in Q&A. When the post gets moved to General, the person who posted the initial topic will post another topic (typically also in Q&A) entitled "WHERE DID MY POST GO" or other similar ridiculousness.

He's referring to the use of all caps. Typing in all caps is generally considered "yelling" in written form.

Sorry, but I always type my title in caps.

I forgot you do this, my bad. But as not_a_charger stated, caps are usually considered yelling.

There are studies that show in order to read and understand another's thoughts promptly, its first most important to recognize the fisrt and last letters of each word, as long as most of the rest letters are included and the word has the correct number of letters, regardless of if they are in perfect order or not, the brain understands/recognizes the word and moves on to the next word. CAPITALS upset that process. It's not the stated perceived "yelling", it's the awkwardness of reading all capitals that is the issue. Your grade school teacher and spelling bee winners are likely to completely disagree with this thinking. Mark Twain also had something related to say on this topic.
