Justin gone on GYC?

Where did Justin go on GYC? He was one on the few I liked watching on that show. Seems likes when they get someone worth watching. They end up leaving. I still enjoy seeing all the sweet Mopars

The one person that I can't stand even hearing the voice of is Mark Worman, anyone else on the show isn't that bad to watch.

100% Agree. I have yet to even watch more than a few minutes of ANY show. As soon as Mark opens his mouth, I have to change channels.

The Justin kid seemed OK to me, as does most of the staff; could be any reason he left.
The trick with GYC is to record the shows; then you just FF through the the side-track goofiness and when they repeat something 3 times.

I record pretty much everything these days anyway, so I can buzz through stupid commercials and the freak show that some of them portray.

I see he stopped that boxing in ya face stuff.

Okay Justin isn't the son-in-law then. Justin was good and I enjoyed him on show too. Maybe grandbaby daddy was Josh? Something with a J but he knew nothing about cars and quite obviously only had a job there because of Mark's daughter.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I like Mark just fine. He's obviously a true Mopar guy from when he was a kid, and I don't mind his antics most of the time. I'm just glad to have an all Mopar show when almost everything else is chebbie chebbie chebbie!

I'm with you. I'm old enough to remember when Mopars were the step child car. And to see one on any of the hot rod shows. Was a very rare occurrence. So now that we have an all Mopar show. I'll watch to see some of the cool cars. Even if Mark gets really old fast.

That is Josh Rose... Mark's ex son in law. Guy was clueless when the program was in it's infancy. I think he only had a job there because of Allyssa. As far as Justin goes... don't know why he left, maybe a better (lucrative) opportunity came up?? Same with Dave Rea... didn't he start his own business after leaving GYC??

Dave has his own shop, and YouTube channel now. The show was at it's best when Dave was on.

Yes I liked Dave also. No nonsense guy. I do enjoy Royal and Doug too. Doug took a little getting use to but I like him.

it an all Mopar restoration show that the creator of show thinks he's rocky Balboa but more like Chuck Barris from the Gong show!

Not a clue who any of them are. I watched 1/2 hour log ago and that was it. Life is good.

I have all my services, T.V., telephone and computer internet access through our local broadband fiber optic cable which is very expensive I have the cheapest services and the bill is still over $160.00 a month with limited T.V. channel choices
I'm thinking of changing to Direct T.V. and switching to a cheaper cellular telephone service and trying to use a local wideband connection for my desktop computer
My grandkids said they did that to cut costs so I may do that also

Do they have a hot rod building shop in central Oregon in the Willamette valley? If so the machine shop I use in Eugene, OR ask me if I would build a couple of motors for them, non Mopar of course and said no
I have built several motors in the past for celebrity car builders like Boyd Coddington and Bob Bauder before we moved up here to central Oregon in 2005.
Most shops like them want to cut corners on the motor and use the paint and interior to impress their customers Not my style, I want neck snapping acceleration and more HP and torque than they need

Anybody remember Holly? The girl they hired to run the office. She was gone quick. Then Dave Rea came and left and it seemed MW wanted it to be all family and friends. I want to Royal clock Mark upside the head for all the degrading names he calls him. Same could go for the rest of the crew. Now that would be a show to watch! Seems to be hit or miss, One show will be nothing but shtick and nonsense and the other fairly interesting.

i know from another "popular" car show that the producer calls most of the shots and the actors are just that. if you aren't causing enough semi-scripted drama or have issues with the main actors they will replace you in a heartbeat. its all about the story. cars, houses, food, travel, doesnt matter. just something to get you to tune in next week
that being said, i would rather watch paint dry and then eat it than watch more than 5 seconds of anything with MW.

Cab, I wouldn't use DirecTV, too expensive. First, make sure your internet can handle streaming. Tmobile uses a 5G setup for 50 a month, ATT is like 75. If you have a good internet then you can get streaming without any issues. Sling is like 40 a month or you can use free services, like Pluto (and others) and just purchase a subscription to your favorite channels (like MotorTrend, Discovery, HBO Max, etc.). It is cheaper then DirecTV. For your phone, I switched to Mint (now owned my TMobile). It is about 20 a month with taxes for 5gig then goes slower once you used it for the month. Only downside is you for it all up front.

That's IF it's available! I wanted to get it and they said it was not available. It is available but they limit how many uses they have in a certain area. Instead they offer different plans depending on how much bandwidth you want. If you want the maximum(like the $50 a month plan) it will cost more.

A few guys from Phoenix ran into Justin at Springfling. Boy, did have some stories to tell.

I got a real good one but can't mention the source. When that "1.5 million dollar"70 Coronet convert came out paint the car so hideous that one of the guys there didn't want to assemble it . Worman said "assemble it" . The car went to Spring Fling and got ripped apart. The following season the car was seen in the background with the hood missing and dozens of pieces of yellow tape all over it. Worman said their QC was not that good and the whole car was re-painted.

Kind of odd they would skiimp on quality on one of the most valuable cars owned by a repeat customer? But I remember that car being sent back for rework on one episode.

The blue '69 Barracuda 383 4 spd car Graveyard did guy over on A Body forum owns it. He was promised 5 years ended up being 9 years. At one point they bent the roof picking car up with a fork lift. They waited until after car was put together to order the Legendary interior which delayed the car by like a year. He said it was a "fixed price" agreement and car was a total rust bucket frame rails all floors entire front clip etc etc etc. Guy got car back earlier this year said they did an outstanding job.

I just went to an all Mopar show at the Gilmore museum in western Michigan back in July.
The 1970 green (FF4) Challenger RT/SE, that was featured a few years ago, on GYC was at this show.
A guy from Illinois owns it. The car was beautiful IMO... turned out great.
It has gotten an award from MCACN....and Class Winner award from Mopar's in the Park, earlier this year.
I believe he got an award at this show as well. But not positive, since I didn't stick around for the whole
award presentation.
