They can change it to whatever they want. Everyone will still call it the wiener mobile.

A wiener by any other name is still a wiener.

I took the dog for a walk yesterday in the park across the street and there it was in the parking lot. I had no idea it was coming to town. These days they have several that are driven around by groups of young kids. I still remember from when I was a kid when there was only 1. It was driven by a midget that they called little Oscar. I got to meet him a couple of times and got my free wiener whistle. Every kid learned how to play the advertising tune. Lol

Frankmobile? Same as when Dunkin Donuts changed the name to Dunkin.

After 100 years as an instantly recognized icon, why the hell would one change that?

That would be like Ford changing the blue oval to a red square.

Budweiser will probably trade their Clydesdales for unicorns though.

Good or bad they were successful in getting some media and online attention to it. That was all is was about.

At this point Dunkin Doughnuts is more interested in selling coffee since it has a larger profit margin and has less labor involved.
Since the public seems to be fine with paying $6 to $10 for a cup of coffee...

As far as the weinermoble getting a name change, someone was probably offended by saying weiner.

Really nobody cares about the difference between a weiner and a frank. They're all hot dogs to 95 percent of the public and the other 5 percent don't care.

There's more difference between the mustard and ketchup crowds. BTW, mustard is correct.

No mustard on my hot dog... Er,...Weiner. ..Er.....frank(?) What ever!

Just give the cooked thing to me, I'll add my own toppings.

I will say that "Frank Whistle" sounds a lot more suspicious than "Weenie Whistle".
