My life today is on the other side of the phone, I have shipments don't look for them but, know lots of people although most of the smart ones are retired
www.specialtyrigging.com is headquartered in PA but does work as far south as Maryland and Delaware. Not sure if they go into VA. Give them a call at 610-406-5188. If they don't work in VA, they'll probably be able to recommend someone who does.
Moving them 14 miles to my home shop. I rented a forklift $2500 in that already moving what I can load but not unload. Doing that with a cherry picker.
Should be a bunch of "machinery movers" just a Google away. They come with a hilo capable of picking up 50,000lbs and a flatbed. I've used them before by me. EXPENSIVE but no alternative. I moved 3 similar machines 1/2 a mile and paid $1000.
I’ve decided to break em down to their lightest and move them myself. The forklift has no problem picking them up, with my 2 ton picker and JD tractor with bucket I can move them. I carry them in a big aluminum 2 horse slant trailer one or two at a time
You might want to get a few 2" diameter steel pipe 3' or 4' long maybe about 4 or 5 of them so you can use them to "roll" a machine into a place the forklift can't go. When we had to move this old arbor/mandrel press into our old shop and then later get it out to move to another new shop the forklift wouldn't fit in the shop doorway. So we did like the Egyptian did and placed a couple of motorcycle chrome fork tubes under it and rolled it into the shop and then years later did the same to move it out. Two guys pushed it while one person kept taking the free tube from behind and moving it to the front. Worked great both times.
I ‘walked’ my big shaped in like that, done the same for years. I use either 1/4” rod or 1/4” black iron pipe, less tippy. I imagine that machine weights a lot!
