Standard on 1970 Cuda - It is the rear taillight surround stainless trim with the inner area blacked out in this case.
Same code, different meaning on other models and in other years. Generic online decoders often get it wrong.

So it is not the trim that is actually on the trunk of the Cuda like on a Gran coupe. And runs over to the Quarters?

If I understand T/A correctly, it's the blacked out tail panel you see here with the stainless trim.

Gran Coupe M88 is on the decklid and quarter drops.
Cuda M88 is not.
