I had a co-worker who sang as a side gig for many years. Most of the people who hired him wanted him to come out and perform, and when finished wanted not a sound out of him their guests could hear, he was supposed to pack up and leave in complete silence. He says Raquel hired him to sing at her daughters wedding, after he finished he said she treated him like family, said here, let me fix you a plate.

Woke up to see that on the news. 
Had her poster on my bedroom wall for several years.
Just a few years back I saw it mentioned that she was in the Elvis Presley movie "Roustabout". I've seen that movie numerous times and didn't recall her being in it. Sure enough, she was one of the college girls at the beginning of the movie.

Saw it on the news R.I.P. .. I didn't know she was American born in the Chicago area , I always thought she was " foreign born " regardless another Hollywood icon has passed
