Are those battery charging lugs on the back bumper?
Also seems to be missing some seats.
Likely sees some track time...

Two guys around me took an old Horizon, swapped in a 3.6 and painted the thing pink. Now I will admit, the front wheels hung way too far out but whoa, I bet that was a different ride. Just a bunch of rednecks whose dad owned a junkyard but I saw them at a show and well, just had to ask. Nice guys and loads of redneck engineering, but that car was plated and must have driven to the show. By the way, I'm in MD too just like that K car. Must be something in the water.

i remember back when the K car and minivan was the only thing ma sold, there were several 4 door cars around here that the owners got real savvy on how to tune the turbo motors.
those things looked just like grannie's car, but man, could they put a spankin' on moosetwangs, crumaros, and vettes !
even put many well tuned 440's on notice, and they were real quiet as well.

Pretty much sums up the entire story concerning performance and cars.

I had a Dynasty that had a 3.3, I ousted a 5.0 Rustang with it. I bet he told his buds about that one

I see this car fairly regularly at a 7-11 near me, and I have a few pics of it.
Three-quarter front and engine shots are from a cruise night in July 2018, interior shot is from a show in November 2021.

Incidentally, it looks like he had this engine in an '89 Reliant coupe in July 2017.
It's a Dick Landy-built 2.5.

And that is what the hobby is all about to me. Something different. I own a Trans Am, Barracuda, Bee, and Cyclone. None are the same or even in the same class as far as builds. So when I see something like the original posted k-Car or the Omni I mentioned, Yeah, I'm going to stop and look and ask some questions. Somebody was thinking. Were they thinking good? Maybe, maybe not, lol. I really don't mind an article on a 71 Hemi Barracuda, but I sure don't need to read about them non-stop. I'm personally actually more interested in the guy at had a valiant given to him from Grandma, dropped in a 360, 8 3/4 rear, and then had to figure out he needed a new drive shaft, suspension, etc and what he did. Just saying, I like to see folks thinking.
