Pending challenger convertible production disaster - 09/07/22 03:43 AM

I predict quite a few of these are going to be ordered. I use to work at the factory that made the Toyota solara convertible years ago, it was a separate ASC factory in the same town as the solara factory and was a full blown OEM spec assembly line. The shell would come in, get the roof chopped and all the extra bracing welded in (what I did) it then went back to Toyota to be made into a car, then again would come back for the soft top and finishing touches. We did thousands of them. How does Dodge expect to send thousands of challengers to a small shop in FLORIDA (from Ontario!) that doesnt even have an assembly line.

Troubles ahead!

The finished vehicles will be sent to the place doing the conversion, just like they do with the aftermarket/dealer ones now.
Once they leave the Canadian auto assembly plant, they won't be going back there.
